About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts to exact specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Excellent understanding of measurement systems and geometric tolerancing.
• Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control personnel to resolve production issues.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records.
