About The Position

Chief Agri is seeking experienced CNC Operators to join the Chief team in Kearney, Nebraska on 1st and 3rd shifts. This position will set-up and operate one or more CNC work centers to punch, shear, or form products in accordance with required specifications.

Requirements

• Requires knowledge of metal fabrication operations and CNC methods generally gained through technical education and/or 1-3 years on the job experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and make necessary program modifications on one or more CNC machines.
• Select, install, and adjust proper machine tools, jigs, and fixtures for operations to be performed.
• Fabricate parts per print specifications and work orders.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to check tolerances and assure quality standards.
• Perform authorized maintenance and adjusting of machine and machine tools.
• Complete required production records and reports.
