  • Operates numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various machine functions.
  • Packages materials and prepares them for cleaning.
  • Records all Safety, Quality, and TPM checks according to Daily Operator Inspection and work instructions.
  • Verifies that all measuring and recording equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Conducts dimensional and quality checks on incoming materials to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Builds packaging containers and assembles cartons.
  • Starts machines and monitors displays to detect malfunctions.
  • Stops machines to change cutting tools or inspect parts for specifications compliance.
  • Enters commands or manually adjusts machine controls to correct malfunctions.
  • Operates machines manually when automatic programming is faulty.
  • Performs and records quality checks after machine set-ups are complete.
  • Loads cut parts into baskets or containers and moves them to the prep area using a crane.
  • Operates forklifts and overhead cranes to move and position materials.
  • Cleans machines, tooling, and parts, and performs machine maintenance.
  • Discusses control media errors with supervisors to resolve issues.
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exemplary records for Safety, Attendance, Performance, and Disciplinary Record.
