About The Position

This position is for an Operator In Training, where the primary focus is on learning the necessary skills and responsibilities to eventually become a CNC Machine Operator. Successful completion of training will lead to a promotion and a pay increase of $1.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Be Reliable: Show up on time every day. Your attendance matters.
• Work as a Team: Communicate clearly and help others when needed. Share responsibilities and support each other to meet goals. Respect everyone's role and keep the workflow smooth.
• Learn the Basics: Follow the Dispatch List to know what to work on. Set up fixtures and gather tools. Load parts, inspect them, and record results. Deburr parts to remove sharp edges.
• Use Equipment Safely: Learn to operate forklifts and cranes. Complete safety checks.
• Keep It Clean and Safe: Follow safety rules. Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Complete Your Training: Finish all required courses and hands-on training.
• Stay Flexible: Be ready to take on other tasks as needed.
