How Will You Make an Impact? As a CNC Operator II, at our Grand Junction, CO facility, you will operate various CNC machine tools including multi-axis mills or lathes. Location: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Requirements

• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Familiarity with CNC operation.
• Ability to read job instructions and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Physical ability to operate machines including bending, stretching, squatting, and climingb to access all parts of the machine.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments (at times).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

• Secondary School, Technical Certificate, or Degree, preferred.
• Manual machining experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform all tasks.
• Operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Utilize inspection equipment to check accuracy of work, in accordance with blueprint specifications.
• Complete all job-related paperwork, accurately, per requirements .
• Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other team members to meet production schedule demands.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
