CNC Operator II Weekend Shift

About The Position

The CNC Operator II is responsible for operating CNC Horizontals and Verticals per complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts

Requirements

At least 1 years of experience in operating, loading, and unloading parts on CNC machines
At least 1 years of experience running CNC Horizontal and/or Vertical machines, and basic CNC machining
At least 1 years of using Calipers and other measurement tools
Demonstrated ability to read drawings and understand tolerances

Nice To Haves

Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of manual machines is preferred

Responsibilities

Operating, loading, and unloading parts on CNC machines
Complete tool changes and make tool offsets
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with the required documents to determine if the process has been completed properly
Make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for tool wear
Troubleshoot and resolve various types of operating difficulties
Learning to do set-ups for new jobs with assistance
