Oberg has partnered with Fortune 500 company, Stryker, in being their Strategic Business Partner in the manufacturing and finishing of implants used in Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). Oberg Medical is looking to provide careers in the growing Medical Device sector. We are looking for people that are mechanically oriented and possess a strong attention to detail to perform CNC operations, hand finishing, and polishing work for the implants.   • Set up and operate CNC equipment.
  • Record how much time is spent on each job.
  • Modify CNC programs as needed.
  • Understand the use of measuring tools and the calibration requirements.
  • Check finished dimension to four place tolerance.
  • Ability to use powered hand tools, buffers, and other basic polishing/finishing equipment.
  • Adhere to the customers' part specifications.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
  • Basic math knowledge required.
  • Understanding of algebra and trigonometry preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate through written, verbal, or other means of communication.
  • Attention to detail and fine hand/eye coordination.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
  • Must be able to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator while working.
