About The Position

The position involves operating CNC machines safely and efficiently to produce quality products while meeting production expectations set by management. The role requires documentation of work on in-process inspection plans and the ERP system to maintain traceability and records. The operator is expected to keep their work area clean and organized, assist in machine setup, and communicate any production-related concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools (Micrometer, Caliper, etc.).
• Ability to change and make offsets, including touching off tools on machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine safely and produce quality products.
• Document work on in-process inspection plans and ERP system.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Change inserts, drills, mills, and other tools.
• Assist setup personnel in loading tools, vises, and fixtures.
• Change offsets and touch off tools.
• Communicate production concerns to the supervisor.
• Look for continuous improvement in processes.
• Handle machines, parts, and inspection equipment carefully.
• Assist in other departments as needed (Deburring, Assembly, Cleaning, Shipping and Receiving).
• Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
