About The Position

The CNC Operator is responsible for handling computer numerical control machines, ensuring they are set up, operated, and maintained effectively. This role involves daily tasks such as adjusting the machine, inspecting parts, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The position is a 1st shift opportunity, offering a chance to work with skilled professionals in the engineering industry from day one.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to use handheld measuring tools
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Ability to pass a job-related skills test prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines under the direction of supervisors
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure specifications are met
• Blend surfaces and apply or remove excess material with hand tools or machinery
• Set up and use various machines, fixtures, and tools, and utilize tracking systems
• Modify parts to specifications
• Ensure compliance with Quality Control Manual (QCM)
• Be aware of ISO - Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements
• Load and perform simple edits of programs as required and perform other tasks in the facility as needed.
