About The Position

The CNC Operations Technician II performs programing, set up, running and troubleshooting of CNC machines to produce precision parts.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in area of responsibility.
• School Diploma or GED
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Select tools and design fixtures to support the creation and modification of CNC programs
• Write new CNC programs, setup instructions, estimate and make changes to existing CNC programs
• Compute dimensions and tolerances, and measure work pieces
• Study blueprints and work orders to determine product specifications
• Set up and run the first part after completion of machine set up
• Load up work pieces and set up CNC machine as per specifications
• Set up and operate CNC machines to maximize the use of materials and equipment
• Perform quality work checks to insure your machine is producing quality standards
