About The Position

Are you ready to dive into a world of imagination, precision, and craftsmanship? We are on the lookout for a dependable CNC Operator to join our dynamic fabrication team. If you're excited about using technology to bring ideas to life, cutting wood and foam into amazing parts, and helping build immersive attractions, this might just be your calling! The primary focus of this position is operating CNC equipment to produce parts and components for attractions like laser tag arenas, mini golf courses, escape rooms, and more.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math (fractions, decimals)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sense of urgency while maintaining quality
  • Comfortable working with computers and machinery
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn new software, tools, and processes

Nice To Haves

  • CNC router operation (wood, plastics, or foam)
  • Cabinetry, woodworking, or millwork shop experience
  • Manufacturing or production environment experience
  • Detail parts assembling
  • Machine operation (routers, panel saws, edge banders, etc.)
  • CAD/CAM exposure (e.g., VCarve, EnRoute, or similar

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC routers and related equipment to cut wood, MDF, foam, and plastics
  • Load and secure raw materials onto the CNC table
  • Zero tools and set machine origins according to job requirements
  • Run pre-programmed CNC files safely and efficiently
  • Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed
  • Use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) to verify part dimensions and quality
  • Read and follow build documents, part labels, and basic shop drawings
  • Use a computer to access build docs, CNC files, and time tracking
  • Perform basic machine upkeep such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing tools
  • Label, organize, and stage cut parts for downstream departments (assembly, paint, etc.)
  • Assist with sanding or light prep work on parts when needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures
