Job Summary: Set-up and operate complex precision machining operations to exacting tolerances and specifications requiring a high level of skill and machining experience. A machine operator should be highly motivated, have an ability to multitask and should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality, using standard procedures designed to maximize product. Our goal is providing our customers with the highest quality components. This job requires attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience reading blue prints
  • Basic understanding of quality requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Tasks require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive motion
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer candidates to have CNC Milling experience or knowledge and ability to be trained

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and operate Vertical and Horizontal Milling machines to perform machining operations on a variety of materials.
  • Make all edits and off-sets as required to produce parts to print
  • Must be able to review blueprints and/or written specifications for a job while demonstrating ability to inspect parts utilizing specialized inspection tools and checking tolerances
  • Operate more than one machine as required to print tolerance and specification.
  • Coordinate with the Quality department to ensure parts comply with specifications.
  • Provide troubleshooting skills to problem-solve issues associated with program and parts
  • Complete paperwork accurately following good documentation practices
  • Work with continuous improvement in mind and a constant feedback loop for machine efficiency
  • Complete preventive maintenance procedures on equipment
  • Maintain area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition
  • Observe all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security
