We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Milling Machine Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision metal and plastic components. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with CAD/CAM software, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines (e.g., Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, etc.).
  • Familiarity with G-code programming and editing.
  • Experience using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM).
  • Strong understanding of materials, machining tolerances, and surface finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine machine setup and tooling requirements.
  • Load raw materials and monitor the machining process to ensure part accuracy and machine efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and part output.
  • Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and other departments to resolve production challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
