About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist to join our team in Akron, OH on a 3rd shift schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all set-up and operational functions of CNC mill turn machines, fabrication of medical instruments and implants, deburring of parts, and inspection of parts using various tools and equipment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience operating a CNC machine
• Advanced print reading knowledge
• Advanced GD&T knowledge
• Experience performing CNC setups
• Able to work as a team
• GD&T
• CNC Tooling
• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
• Machine Setups for Production Runs

Responsibilities

• Operate various CNC mill turn machines independently
• Perform machine setup activities
• Independently perform daily machine preventative maintenance
• Process required documentation (job traveler, I.P. sheets etc.)
• Facilitate use of First Piece Log
• Conduct tool changes
• Conduct change-overs and tool size changes
• Set tooling on all machine types within assigned zone
