About The Position

General Descriptions: Responsible for making molds. Key Duties/Responsibilities: Drill press operations of drilling, tapping and chamfering Plate de-burring and straightening Learning machine shop operations Operate manual machining centers (Bridgeport, Surface Grinder, Lathe, Tool Grinder, etc.) Operate machine shop hand equipment (Drills, Surface and Hand Grinders, Cut Off Saw, etc.) Operate CNC Lathe / Mill Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Use various measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Comparator, etc.) Assemble molds Mold maintenance and repair Read and understand Cad Drawings Ability to work with very tight tolerances Lift and carry 5-25 pounds on a regular basis Work while standing for extended periods of time Regular and consistent attendance Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Keep work area orderly Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Machine shop skills or experience a plus
• Computer literate in Master Cam, Excel and Word
• Willing to learn new skills and attend schooling if required
• Work as a team member and follow established procedures in a new, well equipped, fast paced tool room
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet productivity expectations and deadlines

Responsibilities
