About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce high-precision metal components. The ideal candidate has strong machining knowledge, can work independently, and consistently meets quality and production standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC mills in a metal manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of CNC machining processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
Experience machining metals such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and alloys
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

CNC setup experience (tooling, offsets, first-article inspection)
Basic CNC programming or editing experience (G-code)
Experience with multi-axis or live tooling lathes
Technical certification or vocational training in machining

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mill machines to produce precision metal parts
Load and adjust programs; make offsets and tool changes as required
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Select tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds appropriate for materials and tolerances
Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision tools
Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues during production
Perform routine maintenance and keep machines and work areas clean
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Work closely with supervisors, programmers, and quality personnel to meet deadlines
