About The Position

The CNC mill Machinist is responsible for the machining of new and repair part products to print specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience in CNC machining
• Ability to apply basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, work orders and drawings.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math and basic PC skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Turbine machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational functions of CNC machines, maintain proper maintenance of machine equipment
• Reading of blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required.
• Observe machine operation to detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls as required.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintain a safe work environment and keep work area clean and organized.
• Conduct all business activities in accordance with company code of conduct, policies and procedures and all applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain traceability on all parts.
• All other duties as assigned by your manager
