About The Position

The CNC Material Cutter will run a CNC machine to cut material following specifications. Cutting material with hand scissors may also be required. This individual will be standing for long periods of time and must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to pay attention to details and follow product specifications. Ability to work alone and with others. Must be familiar and have computer knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• Overtime will be necessary when not on current schedule
• Must have an eye for detail and also Quality must be a top priority

• Able to work with a variety of hand tools and read a tape measure
• Able to work with a small team and also as an individual
• Must be a quick learner
• Pass a background check, drug test and physical
• Ability to work overtime as requested
• Promote a safe and clean work environment
• Willingness to work on a team or individually
• Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
• Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
• Must follow company safety guidelines
• Must be fluent in the English language

Responsibilities

• Ensure product is built following product and process specifications
• Maintain daily labor tracking records
• Communicate the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader
• Promote a safe and clean work environment
• Able to work with and understand the building process of assembling product together
• Follow the manufacturing plans on assembling the units and pieces
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management
