Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing leadership position.
  • Knowledge of Lean Production System and 6Sigma principles and tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ERP system knowledge.
  • CAD experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, support the daily operation of, and continually develop the manufacturing process for assigned product groups.
  • Ensure technical requirements for safe, quality, and cost-effective manufacturing.
  • Demonstrate full ownership of the technical aspects of the manufacturing process from raw material preparation to final quality check.
  • Manage and optimize all technical enablers of the manufacturing process including routings, methods, materials, fixtures, tools, and environment.
  • Attend daily cell level production meetings and lead the resolution of technical issues.
  • Continuously monitor quality, delivery, and cost metrics for exceptions and trends.
  • Define and implement corrective and improvement actions based on data analysis.
  • Engage with local manufacturing and global engineering teams, managing by exceptions.
  • Lead or participate in projects targeting changes and improvements.
  • Apply LEAN - 6Sigma, Fastworks, and Simplification principles in everyday work.
  • Drive and support EHS and Quality RCA's, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead New Technology Implementation initiatives.
