About The Position

The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a second shift position. The hours for this role are M-TH 3:30pm-2am.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 2 yr. Manufacturing degree or Vocational School is preferred
• Strong electrical background
• Proven mechanical aptitude with Mechanical Aptitude test
• Previous experience with troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines
• Experience with machine alignments and levelling
• Experience with test equipment including electrical meters
• Ability to work in high pressure situations
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive daily basis
• Heavier lifting in excess of 50lbs on periodic basis
• Ability to problem solve depending on situation

Responsibilities

• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Test operation of machines and accessories
• Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problem, repairs completed, and parts installed
• Utilize various test equipment for trouble shooting purpose, indicators, test bars, clamp force, gages, etc.
