About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician who has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, including experience working with 480V electrical systems. This role ensures that CNC machines and related production equipment remain in optimal operating condition through preventative maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, grinders, etc.) Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Work safely with 480V electrical systems, wiring, motors, control panels, and power distribution Diagnose and repair CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Mazak, or others Maintain and repair servo motors, drives, PLC components, sensors, and machine controllers Conduct machine alignments, calibrations, and accuracy checks Inspect and replace worn or damaged parts Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals Support installation and startup of new CNC machines or equipment Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine reliability Follow all safety regulations related to electrical work and heavy machinery

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or industrial maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of 480V electrical systems and industrial electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Mazak, etc.)
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related failures
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley or similar) is a plus
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and servo systems
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, indicators, micrometers)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Technician Certificate
  • Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics Certification
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • CNC Manufacturer training (Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, etc.)
