Requirements
- 5+ years of hands -on experience in CNC machine maintenance or a related field.
- Proven ability to rebuild machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem -solving skills.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and interpreting complex drawings.
- Knowledge of shop math, basic algebra, and geometry.
- Excellent judgment, decision -making, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Fanuc robots and other automation systems is a plus.
- Preferred training in Forklift Safety, General Safety, Lock -Out Tag -Out, HAZCOM, Quality, System Awareness, and Arc Flash.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and operating issues.
- Perform preventative and proactive maintenance on CNC lathes, machining centers, Fanuc robots, testing equipment, assembly equipment, parts washers, lasers, and other automated systems.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and minor electrical problems.
- Replace motors, switches, and fuses.
- Support advanced machine repairs by adjusting and rebuilding equipment.
- Perform equipment inspections.
