The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machining lathes and mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment. This includes following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, as well as troubleshooting malfunctions. The technician will also be involved in installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing various machine control components and hydraulic systems. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and recommending modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes.
