Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Proficiency in CNC machine operation (mills, lathes, or both).
  • Strong understanding of G-code programming and machine setup.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • CNC programming experience (G-code, M-code).
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of materials (metals, plastics, etc.) and their machining properties.
  • Certifications or training in CNC machining or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mill and/or lathe) to produce precise parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints, sketches, and CAD models.
  • Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining processes.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
  • Document production data and maintain records of work performed.
