Operators must document their actions by completing work order routings and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet changing production demands. A key responsibility includes performing 100% inspections to ensure that all machined parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements. Compliance with NOV Health Safety Environmental (HSE), HR, and Quality policies and procedures is mandatory, and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety eye protection, steel toe boots, and hard hats is essential. The operator is also expected to maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform basic preventative maintenance, and uphold a high standard of quality by minimizing scrap rates. Familiarity with precision measuring tools is necessary, and operators may need to load parts using overhead lifting equipment and perform deburring tasks. The role also involves facilitating objectives related to safety, quality, and innovation, providing feedback on process improvements, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
