About The Position
The machinist will be responsible for receiving part drawings, 3D files, and NC Files from our engineering and programming departments, determine if any specialized tooling or fixtures are required, and then manufacture the parts with our CNC and manual machining equipment per the specifications required. The machinist will be responsible for any QA/QC checks on final parts, as well as documenting dimensions and QC hold points in a traveler. The individual in this role will report to the Pre-Fabrication Supervisor and will be responsible for completing jobs in a timely manner in accordance with the work schedule. This hands-on role requires exceptional competence in all phases of CNC and Manual machining operations.
