About The Position

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated CNC Machinist who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. In this role, you will read setup sheets/blueprints, interpret CNC code and shop orders to determine machine setup and production methods, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. Requirements

  • CNC setup or operation experience on lathes or mills
  • Able to read and comprehend blueprints
  • Change, touch-off, and indicate tools for CNC machines
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., and stand and walk about 90% of the day in a shop environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Experience running HAAS machines in a high-mix, low-volume environment
  • Ability to efficiently manage and operate multiple machines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail in inspection and measurement processes
  • Versatility in working with both metal and non-metallic materials
  • Ability to manipulate G-Code programs, adjust work offsets, and tool offsets

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage CNC machines to perform jobs such as turning, drilling, grinding, and milling
  • Select, position, and secure clamps/jaws, tooling, cutters, and fixtures using measuring tools and hand tools
  • Produce quality parts using HAAS machines in a low-volume, high-setup environment
  • Run multiple pieces of equipment at the same time based on production needs
  • Translate engineering drawings into production dimensions
  • Inspect and measure work using tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other instruments
  • Operate machines to fabricate non-metallic materials when needed
  • Work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shifts
