About The Position

A CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machine tools to produce precision metal parts and instruments.

They work with various types of equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to cut, shape, and finish metal components according to engineering specifications.

This position is critical to ensuring that production tooling is maintained in optimal condition, allowing for efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Ability to train the right candidate
• Education and experience as a Machinist, Tool and Die is preferred.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills is required

Nice To Haves

• Tool and Diemaker certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment.
• Perform TIG welding and Heat Treat of parts.
• Measure and examine completed products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each job.
• Adjust and calibrate machines for precision and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production.
