About The Position

One of our manufacturing clients in the Camden, TN area is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their growing team on 2nd shift. About the Role As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for set-ups, tooling, minor program edits, and machining a variety of materials.

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience required.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, speeds & feeds, materials, and set-up practices.
• Experience running larger/complex parts with short production runs.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make program adjustments.
• Leadership skills and interest in taking on greater responsibility.
• You should be proficient in: Equipment Troubleshooting, CNC Tooling Troubleshooting Skills, CNC Programming, CNC Machine Repair, G-Code, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Tolerance Analysis, M-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, Troubleshooting CNC Machines, CAD/CAM Software Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Nice To Haves

• Degree or certification in machining, manufacturing, or related field highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC set-ups for small runs.
• Make minor program edits as needed (programming handled by in-house programmers).
• Set up tooling and ensure proper speeds, feeds, and materials are used.
• Document and communicate any quality issues in alignment with ISO and company standards.
• Ensure jobs are completed on-time and to specification.
• Work with a variety of materials, including high-hard steel and aluminum.
