Position: CNC Machinist (Entry to Senior Level) Location: Kent City, Position Overview: As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in our production process, utilizing your expertise to operate and program CNC machines to produce precision parts. From entry-level positions to senior roles, we offer opportunities for growth and advancement within our dynamic team.
Requirements
- For Entry-Level Candidates: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of machining principles and concepts. Willingness to learn and develop new skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- For Mid-Level Candidates: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with setting up and operating CNC machines independently. Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
- For Senior-Level Candidates: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role. Advanced knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters. Extensive experience with programming and setting up complex CNC machines. Proven track record of optimizing machining processes for efficiency and quality. Leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce precision parts within specified tolerances.
- Program machines using G-code or CAM software, optimizing cutting parameters for efficiency and quality.
- Monitor the machining process, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
