We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety. As a Machinist, you will work closely with engineering. operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure that all parts meet the highest standards. Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in machining or related field preferred.
Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Machinist, preferably with CNC equipment.
Technical Skills: Proficient in operating various types of machinery, including manual and CNC machines. Skilled in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Knowledge of G-code and CAD/CAM software is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Ability to produce work that meets precise specifications and standards.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed to ensure high-quality output.
Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and Operate Equipment: Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to manufacture precision parts.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand the dimensions and tolerances of the workpieces.
Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure efficient operations.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other machinists, engineers, and team members to refine designs and improve production processes.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of machining operations, materials used, and any adjustments made to the machines.
Work collaboratively within an engineering team of mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineers to design new products and upkeep existing product lines.
Clearly communicate and collaborate with various members of the purchasing team to assist in sourcing manufacturing components.
