Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers to manufacture aerospace and defense components in accordance with complex engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards Interpret detailed job routings, blueprints, GD&T, tool lists, and work instructions with a strong focus on accuracy and repeatability Select, install, align, and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices appropriate for aerospace materials (aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, etc.) Monitor machine feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure optimal performance and compliance with strict tolerance requirements Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, CMM-related tools as applicable) Deburr and finish parts to aerospace standards, ensuring all surfaces conform to engineering and customer specifications Accurately document production data, inspections, and process steps within the ERP system to ensure full traceability Set up and run low-complexity, unproven parts and proven parts with medium to high complexity Support prototype, experimental, and first-article manufacturing efforts Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, improve manufacturability, and recommend process or tooling enhancements Actively participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality initiatives Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment in compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Perform other duties as assigned
