About The Position

EMC Precision - CNC Machinist Our number one goal at EMC Precision is to have "The Best Employees, in the Best Job They've Ever Had, at the Best Place They've Ever Worked" EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. This Mill Turn Operator will be responsible for the CNC manufacturing of precision components making quality verifications and adjustments as necessary. Set up experience a plus. Training/ Mentoring – Learn everything you need to know about the production process and enjoy a variety of cross-training opportunities. Company stability – Family-owned business since 1925. Most employees have 10+ years tenure with 1/3 having over 30 yrs!

Requirements

  • CNC Machine experience required
  • Lathe experience with live tooling (Y axis) and sub-spindle
  • Read and interpret drawings
  • Read micrometer and other precision instruments
  • Calculate/adjust machine settings
  • Identify/solve problems
  • High School diploma/GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Solid work history
