Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled Mazak CNC Operator to join our team in Irwin, PA to help set up, operate and maintain Mazak CNC lathes & mills using Mazatrol controls. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality machined parts according to engineering specifications while maintaining efficiency, safety & quality standards. Work Environment: On-Site at Irwin, PA - Second Shift 3:00 pm- 1:30 am

  • Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines (lathes and mills) using Mazatrol controls.
  • Perform all in-process inspections, including first article inspections, to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and dimensional tolerances.
  • Load/unload parts using overhead cranes, deburr parts, and complete production documentation.
  • Monitor tooling and tool life, minimize machine downtime, and communicate maintenance needs.
  • Proven experience operating Mazak CNC machines with Mazatrol controls in a production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and verify material specs.
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling selection, and part inspection procedures.
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
  • Prior experience with CNC programming, manufacturing processes, and cross-training flexibility is a plus.
