About The Position

At Precision Threaded Products, headquartered in Bristol CT, we manufacture a variety of aerospace fasteners. Due to company growth, we are looking to bring on a CNC Machnist to join our team and will consider individuals with varying levels of experience. Why Work with Us: Competitive rates! $18-22/hour for entry level, $30+/hour for a seasoned machinist A generous benefits package including health, life and disability insurance 10 days of paid time off for first year and paid time during the Christmas/New Year holidays 401K plan with 3% employer match Flexible schedule to provide a work/life balance On the job training to further enhance your skills and help you succeed Small company environment so you can have a significant impact and real opportunities for growth The Position: In this role, the CNC Machinist is expected to: Set-up and operate multi-axis machines Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other instructions Load material, deburr and inspect parts for conformance to print requirements Communicate with supervisor, engineers, quality and other shop personnel to resolve machining or quality issues Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment Maintain an organized, clean and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Must be able to setup, optimize feed & speeds, operate and troubleshoot
  • Familiarity with Mitsubishi & Fanuc controls
  • Above all, you have an excellent work ethic and can-do attitude and take pride in the quality of your work and the impact you have within a company

Nice To Haves

  • Experience independently programming CNC Swiss Machine a plus but not required
  • Experience working with Inconel and A-286 materials a plus
  • Experience utilizing standard gauges and inspection techniques including documentation
  • Experience selecting, setting and changing tools
  • Experience with inspection documentation is a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing aerospace threaded components and/or other close tolerance parts is a plus

Responsibilities
