About The Position

IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED!!! We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the high-precision setup and operation of machining equipment to produce quality components. The ideal candidate blends technical manual expertise with an understanding of modern CNC controls.

Requirements

Manual Proficiency: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience configuring and operating manual lathes and milling machines.
Setup Expertise: Proven ability to "sweep in" mill heads and vises and effectively manage runout on lathe workpieces.
Self-Sufficiency: Capability to execute job setups independently, even in the absence of formal documentation.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of G/M code logic and the calculation of optimal speeds and feeds for various materials.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with broaching techniques.
Direct experience with Haas, Hurco, or Fanuc control systems.
Ability to perform basic G-code programming.

Responsibilities

Quality Inspection: Utilize precision measuring instruments—including calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges—to ensure all parts meet exact specifications.
Tooling Mastery: Demonstrate expert-level application of radius and angle gauges during the fabrication process.
Material Handling: Successfully obtain internal certification for the safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts.
Maintenance Support: Partner with the maintenance team to identify and resolve mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions.
Technical Literacy: Interpret complex industrial blueprints with high accuracy, proactively identifying and correcting any drafting discrepancies.
