About The Position

Position Details Position: CNC Programmer / Machinist (Lathes & Mills) Schedule Options: 8, 9, or 10-hour shifts Occasional weekend work required Compensation: $30–$40/hour (based on experience) Equipment & Technology Work with industry-leading CNC equipment, including: Makino Mazak Mori Seiki Doosan Haas Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes Utilize CAM software to develop and optimize machining programs Perform machine setups, including:- Setting tool lengths Establishing and storing work offsets Read and interpret:- Blueprints Technical drawings Work instructions Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards Follow all documented procedures and customer requirements Inspect finished components and make adjustments as needed Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes) Experience with:- Fanuc controls Mazak controllers Minimum 2 years programming experience using:- Mastercam Tebis Ability to:- Perform full machine setups Work independently with minimal supervision Follow detailed procedures and documentation requirements Strong communication skills (written and verbal) High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience machining castings or complex metal components Background in aerospace or defense manufacturing Familiarity with tight-tolerance, high-precision environments Benefits & Perks We offer a highly competitive benefits package, including: 100% employer-paid health insurance (employee + family) Supplemental GAP insurance 401(k) with company match Paid life insurance Paid holidays and vacation time Attendance-based rewards and incentives Ongoing training and professional development opportunities You should be proficient in: CNC Programming

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
  • Experience with: Fanuc controls Mazak controllers
  • Minimum 2 years programming experience using: Mastercam Tebis
  • Ability to: Perform full machine setups Work independently with minimal supervision Follow detailed procedures and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience machining castings or complex metal components
  • Background in aerospace or defense manufacturing
  • Familiarity with tight-tolerance, high-precision environments
