About The Position
CNC Machinist (Swiss & Lathe) Medical Device Manufacturing | Wheeling, IL TekPro is partnered with a growing medical device manufacturer in Wheeling, IL. This is a modern, climate-controlled facility with strong benefits and long-term stability. Open Shifts 1st Shift Seeking a senior-level machinist Strong experience with Swiss or traditional lathe setup 2nd & 3rd Shift Open to junior or mid-level candidates More operator-focused , with basic setup or adjustment experience preferred
Requirements
- CNC machining experience in a production environment
- Swiss or lathe experience required for senior 1st shift role
- Operator or entry-to-mid level experience acceptable for 2nd and 3rd shift
Nice To Haves
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss or traditional lathes (based on shift and experience)
- Run close-tolerance medical device components
- Perform basic inspections using precision measuring tools
- Follow quality, safety, and documentation standards
