Position Overview: Are you highly skilled in operating CNC machinery and passionate about creating precision components? We're looking for a dedicated CNC Machinist to join our team! In this role, you will operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet our specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience and/or technical training in machining and/or fabrication.
  • Must have practical knowledge of CNC G codes programming, Sinumerik 840D a plus!
  • Training as a machining technician, machine operator, or lathe operator is required.
  • Candidate should be highly proficient in reading blueprints.
  • Possess strong reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Experienced in using precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, bore micrometers and gauges.
  • Upon offer of employment, candidates will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret Technical Drawings: Read and understand technical drawings from purchase orders or verbal instructions. Rework parts based on technical drawings or verbal instructions.
  • Operate Machinery: Under limited supervision, set up and operate precision machines such as CNC, CMM, FARO Arm, Milling Machine.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with engineers and other manufacturing professionals to ensure the production of high-quality machined and fabricated parts.
  • Maintain Consistency: Ensure that all processes and outputs meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Clamping and Deburring: Secure and deburr girders and truck frames to ensure smooth edges and surfaces.
  • Measurement: Accurately measure girders, truck components to meet specifications.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas according to established checklists.
  • Problem Solving: Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and others to resolve machining or assembly issues efficiently.
