Position – CNC Machinist Job location – Eau Claire, Wisconsin Starting date – Immediate Employment term – Direct hire Employment type – Full-time Work hours (shift) – 2nd shift, four 10-hour days: Monday through Thursday, 4:15 PM to 2:15 AM Starting pay – $70,720 per year Benefits – Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid uniforms, on-site wellness services, profit sharing, 401(k) retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and holidays Required education – Technical diploma in machine tool technics preferred; high school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related machining experience or training also considered Required experience – Skilled in setup and operation of lathes, vertical and horizontal machining centers, or boring mills with close tolerances.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma in machine tool technics preferred
  • High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of machining experience or related training also considered
  • Experience with setup and operation of CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T
  • Familiarity with FANUC and/or HAAS CNC controls and G/M code programming
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a positive work environment

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal machining centers, or boring mills
  • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T symbols
  • Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment using FANUC and/or HAAS controls, including G/M code
  • Measure, inspect, and ensure workpieces meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Inspect parts to verify specifications and quality
  • Adjust, reprogram, and replace worn tools as needed
  • Collaborate with team members while also working independently
  • Document production and quality processes when required
