About The Position

We are working with an established Precision Engineering company based in Milwaukee, WI. They are recruiting for CNC Machinists to join their team on 2nd or 3rd Shift in return for a salary in the region of $30 - $38/hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance. Key Responsibilities include: Manufacture of parts utilizing manual and CNC machine centers Design and develop accurate programs Set up, Check programs and operate CNC machine tools and machining equipment, meeting precise tolerance and finishing requirements Understand program format and fixturing, able to arrange, mount and secure work piece Set stops, calibrates fixturing to appropriate reference points Install programs and cards in consoles reader and correlates machine position with controls. Manually cycle machine through operation sequence, to check fixture and work positions, tooling, clearances, speeds, feeds etc Recommend tooling and operational sequence to assist in developing practical programming for new unusual machining requirements.

Requirements

5 years machinist experience
Mathematical skills
Required accredited apprentiship or equivalent training
Working knowledge of programming CNC machines
Read and interpret prints, specifications and routings
Required G&M Code experience

Responsibilities
