As a CNC Machinist, you will perform precision machining operations to create parts that meet exact specifications.

Requirements

  • Experience using complex tools, CAD, and CAM.
  • Degree or Certification in CNC Machining, Right Skills Now for Manufacturing Course, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Ability to machine parts to specifications.
  • Knowledge and use of gauges, micrometers, Vernier calipers, and charts to measure tolerance.
  • Ability to accurately and effectively use computer programs for data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to learn how to use machinery/equipment as needed.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Strong attendance record.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Detail process-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of mechanics.
  • Extensive experience in CNC Machining.
  • Understanding of the iron foundry process.
  • Understanding of a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Machine parts to specifications, performing precision machining operations.
  • Operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machine tools.
  • Design fixtures, tooling, or experimental parts.
  • Utilize complex technical tools, CAD, and CAM.
  • Use hand tools as required.
  • Follow specific processes and procedures as directed.
  • Ensure work practices adhere to OSHA standards.
  • Follow all safety standards outlined in policies and procedures.
  • Perform data entry.
