Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of machining or manufacturing
• Willingness to learn CNC machine operation and setup
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience operating and setting up CNC machines
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC controls
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Advanced experience with CNC setup, programming, and machining operations
• Expertise in tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies
• Proven ability to optimize CNC machining processes
• Leadership experience or ability to mentor junior machinists

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders)
• Perform CNC programming using G-code or CAM software
• Monitor machining processes and adjust offsets to maintain tight tolerances
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with team members to improve CNC machining processes and efficiency
• Follow all safety standards and manufacturing best practices
