About The Position

Advance Employment, now the JobSquad, is hiring on 2nd shift for a Machinist in Grass Lake, MI. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: set up and operates vertical and/or horizontal milling equipment. Linear and contour machines details per layouts direction and/or profile and contour programs. Machinist will machine each job to customer standards, to the highest quality standards possible, within the quoted hours, keeping waste to a minimum.

Requirements

Knowledge and use of measuring equipment and basic blueprint skills.
Basic knowledge of small machine operation.
Basic knowledge of tooling being used.
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in fast pace environment.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Ability to read and write in English and preform mathematical calculations.
Possess a High school diploma or GED
1-3 Years
