Requirements

  • 2+ years experience operating Fanuc Control 3 & 5 axis CNC Machines, preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Gantry style machining experience, preferred
  • Ability to read, understand and follow step by step procedures
  • Experience using/reading mechanical measuring tools
  • Familiar with 5S manufacturing procedures
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills
  • Trustworthy, honest and person of good character
  • Follow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
  • Excellent attendance and positive attitude is required
  • Reliable Transportation required
  • Must be a US citizen or current green card holder

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years experience operating Fanuc Control 3 & 5 axis CNC Machines
  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Gantry style machining experience

Responsibilities

  • Machining large parts to customer specifications.
  • Use precision instruments such as micrometers.
  • Setup, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
  • Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs
  • Set controls to regulate machining or enter commands to retrieve & input computerized machine control media
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by manager
