Requirements

  • Completion of a relevant trade school program.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand part specs.
  • Strong math & computer skills.
  • Experience in CNC machining; preferred experience in milling
  • Experience in creating and editing CNC programs.
  • Precision mindset and a knack for making accurate adjustments.
  • Knowledge of appropriate speeds and feeds for materials and tools.
  • Good communication and the ability to work independently as well as under general supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines
  • Review programs, blueprints, and tooling requirements
  • Handle both production and prototype parts—often complex, always high precision
  • Make real-time decisions to keep quality and efficiency on point
  • Rough and finish parts down to tight tolerances
