We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic finance team in a growing aerospace company located in beautiful Clearwater, FL. As a Machinist, you will operate and maintain various types of machinery to produce precision parts and components based on detailed specifications. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and efficiency within our production processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience setting up CNC machines (Haas, DMG, Mazak Mille and DMG lathe).
  • Knowledge of set up 4/5 axis, lathe with live tool/Y axis and operate CMM inspection machine a plus.
  • Hard tooling experience and working with tight tolerance of 0.0005".
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work with ITAR products and data without restriction.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
  • Measure and inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Familiar with ISO/AS9100 requirements and FAI documentation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize machining processes.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
