Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Machining Center Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up machining centers according to standard work instructions, utilizing best practices and standard operating procedures (SOP) as trained. You will produce in-tolerance setup pieces and follow the temporary manufacturing deviation request (TMDR) procedure when changes are required. Additionally, you will decommission machines after operation, build and tear down tooling as needed, and inspect tooling for wear, advising supervision as necessary. Maintaining tool crib organization and cleanliness, as well as ensuring machine operating conditions (oils, coolant, and filters), will also be part of your responsibilities. Clear communication with your supervisor is essential, especially if any direction is unclear.
