About The Position

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist (Turning) to join our team and help operate and maintain our precision CNC turning machines. This is a hands-on, technical role ideal for someone with prior CNC machining experience. If you’re looking to improve your skills in a high-quality manufacturing environment and not just a general warehouse job we’d love to hear from you. 🔺 Please note: This position requires previous CNC machining experience. Candidates without it will not be considered

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required, with proven experience operating CNC turning machines in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in reading complex blueprints and technical drawings, with a solid grasp of G-code, CAD/CAM, and turning techniques.
  • Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls; specific familiarity with DMGMORI lathes is a major plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to precision, safety, and high-quality production standards.
  • A reliable, accountable communicator who embraces lean manufacturing and thrives in a collaborative, high-performance team.
  • This position is fully onsite in Rock Hill, SC, Monday–Friday; candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC turning machines (like DMGMORI) with all necessary tools, fixtures, and materials to begin production.
  • Monitor machining runs and use precision measuring tools to ensure every finished part hits exact specifications.
  • Perform tool changes, adjust parameters, and quickly resolve any machine errors to keep production moving.
  • Maintain a safe, organized workspace and collaborate with the team to find ways to boost overall machining efficiency.
  • Accurately track and record production output, scrap rates, tool usage, and routine maintenance logs.
