CNC Machinist (Starlink) - Level 4/5

We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system – thousands of satellites, consumer antennae that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink’s potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class CNC Machinists to help maximize Starlink’s utility for communities and businesses around the globe.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 7+ years of experience in the setup and operation of CNC machines
- G-code experience
Nice To Haves
- 10+ years of experience in the setup and operation of CNC machines
- Experience with GD&T or interpreting blueprints/manufacturing drawings
- Short run, prototype, non-production machining experience
- Horizontal mill experience
- Basic programming experience
- Experience running lathes + live tooling
Responsibilities
- Responsible for setting up, operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 Axis mills and 6 axis lathes
- Responsible for all types of drilling, tapping and milling and turning
- Completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
- Responsible for machining complex, tight tolerances parts and various materials
- Material prep, deburring parts, hauling chips, oiling machines, sweeping up and initiating or assisting in organizational tasks
